Stamping for fun.
I was completely inspired to make this card after looking at an embellishment on an Oriental Trading catalog cover.
I thought it was a cool idea for 2 reasons:
1. The new SU! In Colors are perfect for popsicles!
2. I’ve got dozens of these unused sticks from the multiple rub-on packs I have and don’t use!
I’m hoping the recipient of this card has already gotten it. But if not, she’ll get it soon so I’m hoping it’ll still be a surprise.
So let’s look at my popsicle!
Did you get that Sakura Clear Stardust Pen yet? Look what I did with it here! And while I’m promoting my shop, I just implemented a new Flat Rate Shipping Policy of $6.50 for the U.S. and APO/FPO destinations! International flat rates have been added as well. Take a look!
So how does this popsicle card work? Like this:
And the pullout comes all the way out for you to stamp your greeting:
How cool is that??? If anyone is interested, I’ll be happy to give instructions. Super easy.

Shimmerz launched a new weekly challenge this week called Shimmerz Darez. As all my regular readers know, I adore Shimmerz!! Upon seeing that this premier challenge is to use Shimmerz, Blingz and/or Spritz on a picture frame, I knew I would totally be in! Why? Because I had a frame laying around that I didn’t know what to do with!
So I turned my frame into this. I’m really going to miss this awesome Bella Rose designer paper. It’s the most gorgeous paper and I love it.
See these gorgeous butterflies? I used my butterfly Bigz die from SU! and cut the paper and some Grungeboard (Tim Holtz). Then I adhered the paper to the Grungeboard. I also added half pearls and, of course, Shimmerz.
I used Angel Wings Shimmerz on both butterflies.
I had to be very careful with this frame. I wanted to add more “stuff” to it, but it is a picture frame and the focus should be the picture. So I refrained. Although I’ve not inserted a picture yet, my idea is to use the roses as a mat.
If you haven’t tried Shimmerz yet, please check out my shop! I’ve got many Shimmerz colors and I know you’ll love it as much as I do. My personal fav, Angel Wingz!!!
This week we are having a catch up week! We will resume next with new challenges. So this week go back through our previous challenges and select one that you weren’t able to do or one that you’d really like to explore further and create a item based on that!
Here is a list of our previous challenges:

I have decided to revisit TTIC #33, New Moon Quotes from last week. New Moon is my absolute favorite. Well. Midnight Sun could be if it were finished…and Twilight is pretty awesome…you get the picture. This is just splitting hairs.
So, I really wanted to revisit this challenge. New Moon had the most poignant quotes of the entire saga. There are so many it’s hard to have a favorite…kind of like choosing which book in the saga is my favorite!
I made this super simple, albeit elegant, 6×6” scrap page. I used this gorgeous paper that Julie sent me awhile back. I’ve been saving it for something special. It’s really hard for me to do too much when I have such beautiful paper. I want the paper displayed!! So, I always keep these designs simple.
My very favorite quote is written here:
“When I told you that I didn’t want you, it was the blackest kind of blasphemy.” Edward Cullen, New Moon.
