Yes!! It’s time for another Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge! Today is our third sketch layout from Alison. It’s also her birthday!! Let’s see what she has for us…

Today just happens to be MY (Alison) Birthday!!! And, as you Twi-Hards all know, Bella’s Birthday really is the catalyst that sets New Moon in to motion. So, to help me celebrate (and to continue to celebrate the release of New Moon),  I want YOU to make a Birthday scrapbook page! It can be about anyone! You, your kids… or, if you want to keep it purely Twilight, make a layout about Bella’s Birthday!!! So, please celebrate my Birthday with me and make a totally rad scrapbook page!!! Then, go and have some cake!

I’m also using my project for the Mo’s Digital Pencil Challenge #13 (Birthdays).

Ready? Here we go!!

Here is my 12×12” Scrapbook Layout:

I used BoBunny designer paper, PTI and Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Up! card stock.

The images are Verve Stamps and Mo’s Digital Pencil. Let’s take an even closer look…

This is the Verve image. I used Versamark Onyx ink and embossed it in polysparkle.

Jumping down just a bit, this a subtitle tag. Notice the blank space on the left? I thought I would add the month vertically.

This is the Mo’s Digital Image. Is this the cutest little fairy or what??? I love her! I colored her in Copics:

I added Spicas to some of the image: The wings and the stars.

Now for my confession. I’m “technically” in Sarasota in Florida while prepping this post. I had all my Copic numbers written in but…somehow lost them. I’ll update this post later with the correct numbers but here are the colors:

So. Yes. It’s official. I am now officially Copic Certified! Be on the lookout for more organized, detailed, better Copic information from me and the shop in the very near future. I think you’ll be excited about the Copic changes coming!

TTIC #58: A Twilight Christmas

It’s time for our last challenge for 2009.  We have had a wonderful year here at Twilight Tuesday and we are looking forward to having another fun, crafty and adventurous Twilighty year in 2010!

This week’s challenge is "A Twilight Christmas" create any Twilight themed holiday project.

Comment:  What is something that you are leaving behind in the old year and what are you looking forward to in the new year???

Well! The thing I’m leaving behind in the old year (I hope) is all the sickness I’ve had this year! I’ve been to the ER 3 times this year!!! And, guess what? I had to miss my Copic certification on Sunday because I got sick again. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am! I usually don’t get sick so this has been a nasty year for me!

And what do I look forward to in the new year? Getting Copic certified, going back to school, and being healthy!

I am “cheating” a little with today’s project because I’m sharing something I made last year for my Twilight Christmas. A lot of you are new so I wanted to share it again. I absolutely adore this layout so here it is!

This is a 12×12 layout set, which is kind of hard to photograph.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! Be sure to visit all the rest of the design team and see their lovely projects!

TTIC #56: Your New Moon Experience

Hello Twilighters!

Today is the official day to share your scrap pages for TTIC#56: Your New Moon Experience.

Let’s see what Alison has to say:

“Happy Tuesday Twilighters! So, have you seen it? How many times??? I know some of you have gone 2 or 3 times already! Now, the most important question… Did you take pictures???? If so, then join us in making a layout of your New Moon Experience! If you didn’t, that’s ok! Scrap your ticket stubs, journal about the evening’s events, etc! Just have fun with it! Even if you haven’t scrapped before, join in! We can’t wait to see what you make and read about your time at the movie!!!”

I have seen New Moon twice now and I may go for a third. Last week, I showed you a mini scrapbook that I plan to use for my first New Moon experience.

If you’d like to revisit it, please feel free

I haven’t placed my pictures in it yet but will someday soon.

For this week’s project, I decided to use a similar color scheme. I replaced the black with dark brown and made it incredibly, incredibly simple.

Let’s take a look…

One problem I have when I scrap is remembering that my pages need to lie flat in a book. I love embellishments and fun stuff but they aren’t always practical. I also tend to over do my pages where the focus falls on my craftiness and not on my pictures. But this is not the case! LOL. Here, I’ve made an incredibly simple 6×6” layout set.

Now, I have a confession. The photo is totally thrown in. I actually did take a picture of my husband on my BlackBerry the day we went, but my Blackberry and I are in this huge New Moon style thing where BlackBerry recently told me, “It will be as if I never existed…” And BB is not kidding. I can’t answer calls, find any of my saved stuff (some of which I spent real $$ on!!!), etc. So, the picture is gone.

Instead, you get this totally candid no makeup snap shot of me today after I went and had my hair did (I’ve always wanted to say that…). I really like the lady who does my hair…she’s a total sweetheart, she’s good, and her boyfriend just proposed to her!! WHOOT! Now I need to make her something… but I digress. We chatted a little about New Moon today so this picture kind of counts…right??

I used BoBunny Almond Double Dot and St. Nick Sleigh paper. The brown is Bazzill Bling. The letters are also from BoBunny and I sponged the edges with Bravo Burgandy ink from SU! All of the writing is done in a Garnet Spica pen.

I’m not sure if you can see the sparkle from this picture or not but you might want to click it to make it larger and try.

Ok…now it’s your turn! Head over to Twilight Tuesday and leave your link in Mr. Linky so we can see your creation!!!

Be sure to check out the rest of the design team’s awesome creations too!!

This week, the Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge is taking a break to celebrate Independence Day.

Even though this was preplanned, it is nice to give everyone a break for Michael Jackson’s memorial service.

Also, there are two really special birthdays today: My sister, and Dani! Happy birthday my sweets!

I get to share my project with you today! I made a 6×6” layout to be used when the future Breaking Dawn movie is released.

I colored the image with my Copics. The paper came from my friends Eve, and Julie.

I thought I’d show you the different levels in this layout.

The pawn and “romantic” are both popped up with dimensionals.

Tomorrow, I will be sitting out of the normally scheduled Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge. Instead, later in the week I’ll be bringing you a very special blog post on TTIC that will positively WOW you!

Coming up, black ink on Stampin’ Up! Whisper White paper…

I have decided to revisit TTIC #33, New Moon Quotes from last week. New Moon is my absolute favorite. Well. Midnight Sun could be if it were finished…and Twilight is pretty awesome…you get the picture. This is just splitting hairs.

So, I really wanted to revisit this challenge. New Moon had the most poignant quotes of the entire saga.  There are so many it’s hard to have a favorite…kind of like choosing which book in the saga is my favorite!

ttic33 stamphappens 001

I made this super simple, albeit elegant, 6×6” scrap page. I used this gorgeous paper that Julie sent me awhile back. I’ve been saving it for something special. It’s really hard for me to do too much when I have such beautiful paper. I want the paper displayed!! So, I always keep these designs simple.

My very favorite quote is written here:

ttic33 stamphappens 002

“When I told you that I didn’t want you, it was the blackest kind of blasphemy.” Edward Cullen, New Moon.

Have you ever made one of these really cute meander books?

This is a super fun project for your Bind-it-All.

You can get the instructions here.

I made this one last year for my mom. It features my daughter, Julie.

This turned out really cute and I put pictures of my daughter in it from her MDO year.

It’s hard to tell from this picture, but Julie wrote on the “blackboard” in the middle left page. So cute!!!

Today I was working on a couple of cards that I will be able to show you next week. I’m also finishing another project I have been working on and hopefully will have it to share tomorrow or Friday.

Do you have projects you’ve made with your BIA? I need some good ideas so I can dust mine off and use it.
