It’s that time again! Time for another Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge! This week it’s the very lovely and sweet Dani’s turn to issue the challenge. She chose The Ballet Studio Scene (TTIC #30):

I thought this room would be visually dramatic for my little film. That’s why I picked this place to meet you. It’s perfect, isn’t it?

-James

Twilight, Chapter 22, p.449

“Sigh. There is just something about James…

Anyways, I have always found this an interesting scene. I am not sure if I like the book version better than the movie version though.

I am also not sure if I agree with Edward’s decision to keep Bella from changing into a vampire.”

Craft Portion: Create a project that shows your favorite part of the Ballet Studio Scene.

Comment Portion: How do you feel about this scene from Twilight. Was it not scary enough? Do you think Edward made the right decision to keep Bella from turning?

If you want to play along, please be sure to read the guidelines here!

On to my project! First of all, please let me just take this moment to give Cam Gigandet some love. The boy is HOT!

Some from the Sookie fandom might even say…”Yikes. Yahoo. Yum.” And I’d agree.

Not only is Cam easy on the eyes, he is a great actor with an even greater personality. It is such a joy to watch him in interviews and live performances. He exudes gentility, compassion, a wicked sense of humor, and confidence. I am so looking forward to great things from this man.

But enough with my lovefest.

I was actually glad Bella wasn’t allowed to become a vamp. As great as Cam is, James is not and I would never want him to be Bella’s “sire.” YUCK. I was also very pleased with the ballet scene. I thought James’ swagger, arrogance and evilness were apropos.

(I know…bad huh?) But James is bad. And so is the scene!

Every moment of the ballet studio was great for me. I can’t name a specific moment that is my “favorite.” It was all good!! But this is the one I used for my layout. I thought Catherine Hardwicke and crew did a fantastic job with the ballet studio scene and I particularly loved the boards breaking up. If you haven’t read The Twilight Movie Companion or Director’s Notebook, I would suggest it! Both did great jobs talking about this scene.

You can click the digi layout to see it in finer detail. I used digi papers and accessories by Claire de Lune by Retrodiva and Isn’t it Romantic by Scrap Girls.

Is everyone anxiously awaiting New Moon news? Hear about the script leak? Wow. I wonder if that’s a hoax??? Thoughts?
