Have you seen what has popped up in the Wild Flower Patch today?

These sets, No Girls Allowed and Pretty in Pink are available TODAY in the Stamp Happens Shop!

I found a nice little shop in Austin called The Memory Depot where we (Julie, Beth, and I) spent Saturday afternoon stamping before the Blue October concert. I created a lovely little card using Laurel from Pretty in Pink so I’d be ready for today’s release.

This card uses Twilight Tuesday Sketch Challenge #9 (TTSC9) very loosely! I’m afraid I had to alter it slightly to fit my project! Twilight Tuesday is doing a review of previous sketch challenges this Monday! Are you going to play with us?

Be sure to check out the other Stamp Sistahs’ designs using these cute new sets:

This would be what one might call a hodgepodge post…so don’t say I didn’t warn you!!

First of all, I’m excited to announce that Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October is on the mend, feeling better, and will be appearing LIVE as scheduled in Austin next month!

If you look very closely, you’ll notice that these dates coincide with the release of New Moon!!! That is like…super cool…you know why? Me, Beth, and Julie are all meeting in Austin for a girls weekend—our first evah and we are going to this concert!!!

New Moon, Blue October, girlfriends…Good Times. Good times.

TTIC is helping TwilightMoms raising money for Blue October’s causes that the Pick Up The Phone tour was planning to raise awareness about. I’ve donated, TTIC donated…how about you? Go see TTIC’s post here!

Next up, I want to remind everyone of Sarabeth’s Halloween Blog Hop starting on the 30th…

And finally, I am late in posting my sample for the Wild Flower Kids ‘Tis the Season digital release!

I used Mojo Monday Sketch 110 for the layout. The patterned paper you see is BoBunny, ‘Tis the Season (ironic, huh?) Snowflakes, and Treasure. The image was printed onto PaperTrey Ink white card stock. The card stock layers and base are Bling Bazzill, but I don’t have the color name. The card is a 5.25” square. The ribbon and rub-on are Stampin’ Up!. I used Copics to color Ivy and Spicas to highlight her halo, candle flame, wings, and dress.

I’m trying to show you the glittery edges of Ivy’s dress that I used the Spicas on. I’m not sure how well you can see it! The wings are also glittery.

Tomorrow, I have more to share. I have a super fab journal that Julie made and is selling now! I can’t tell you what I’m doing with mine yet…but I will soon. It will be worth waiting for, I hope! But I am going to show you how I keep track of my Copic markers and how I determine which colors I use. Won’t that be fun?

Guess what else? I have the full line of the new BoBunny fall release!!! I’m desperately trying to get it inventoried so be on the lookout! I plan to work quite a bit tonight getting it in. This stuff is GORGEOUS! I can’t wait to share!

I wanted to let everyone know that there is a Halloween Sale going on in my Stamp Happens Shop!

  • BoBunny Halloween designer paper
  • BoBunny Calypso Class Kit
  • BoBunny Mango Luau Class Kit
  • BoBunny Popsicle Class Kit
  • StampInsanity Halloween stamp sets
  • Wildflower Kids stamp sets

I’m making room for the new Fall 2009 collection from BoBunny and you’re going to love it! I’ll be holding classes from these lines and I’m so excited! I’ll begin taking pre-orders this week!

For now, I want to show you a couple of cards I made with the Wildflower Kids Ghoul Friends set.

This card features Boo Crew Dot designer paper from BoBunny along with Bazzill Raven canvas and Papertrey Ink white card stock.

I stamped the Frankenstein image in Versafine Black Onyx ink and used my Copic Ciaos and Spicas to color him.

I failed to lay out my Ciao colors this time, please forgive me!

The rhinestones are from Stampin’ Up!.

I tried to make this card simple since it is really for a boy. Boys aren’t too fond of girly-girl cards with ribbon and lots of sparkle…at least my 10 year old isn’t! So I wanted to keep this one simple.

This one is more my style! The cool thing about this little card is that it isn’t limited to Halloween!

Little girls love dress up so it’s a cute card for birthdays or any other occasion.

I used Versafine Black Onyx to stamp the image and Copic Ciaos and Spicas to color the image.

The ribbon is from Stampin’ Up! as is the Pink Passion paper.

I used the Bazzill Raven and PTI white for the other card stock.

I used a Martha Stewart punch and bling from my stash.

See the sparkle from the Spicas??

So cute!!

The Halloween Sale doesn’t last forever so hurry up and get your stuff!

Oh! And before I leave, Jen is having a blog candy giveaway:

Category : Cards, SWMs, Wildflower Kids Rubber Stamps

Wildflower Kids will release a set of digital stamp images tomorrow at the Stamp Happens Shop! The set is entitled Autumn Splendor and I have a sneak peek for you now!

This is Lily all dressed up as a Native American Indian with a plump little turkey beside her!

I used a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! that I think is pretty cute.

I also used circle punches and the scallop punch from SU!

I used my Stampin’ Write Markers to color the images. the card stock is Riding Hood Red, Tempting Turquoise, and Soft Suede. I also used Papertrey Ink’s white.

I used a Copic to outline the image.

Be sure to check out the Sr. Design Team’s creations:

And check back tomorrow for the full release and to see what the Stamp Sistahs have made with them!!

Ghoul Friends

Category : Cards, Copics, SH Shop, Seasonal, Spica Pens, Wildflower Kids Rubber Stamps

I made this card fro the WFK halloween release but as you know, I had technical difficulties and it didn’t make it up as it should have. So I’m sharing it today!

I used the Free Broom Rides and Ghoul Friends sets to make this 5 1/4” square card.

I also used Bazzill Bling orange (not sure of the exact color) for the base (and circle layer) and BoBunny Designer Paper for the bottom layer. And of course, I used PaperTrey Ink’s white card.

I used Copics and Spicas to color the images. I’ve tried to give you an angle view so you could see the glittery sparkle from the Spicas.

When you use Spica pens, you really don’t need a color underneath. You can use a color under them, but it is unnecessary.

This is the inside of my card and has my favorite sentiment from the entire collection: “Just hanging out with my ghoul friends”! Isn’t that too cute?

More to come this week my friends! I look forward to sharing lots with you this week.
