If you are participating in the Sisters ATC Swap…you may not want to look at this….your choice!

Look away, look away….ok here it comes…

These are the ATCs I made for my Sisters swap. Some of them have glitter on them but it probably isn’t that noticeable in this picture. I tried to give some of my sisters some different ethnicities….cause that’s the way I roll.

I love this stamp. It’s another Bella. It’s called Best Friends Forevah. Do you likey?

Well, during my last post, I mentioned the UPS man just delivered my new SU! stuff. I’m really not sure how much I like the new In Colors yet…but I do like the Red Riding Hood. I’m still coming around so be patient with me.

I made this ATC chipboard holder for all the ATCs I am hoping to get!

I used the Bella DP…

Double-sided sticky letters (however, I left the white backing on and stuck THAT to my board. I don’t like just using the adhesive.) with chunky glitter…

Some flowers from the Pretties kit along with some ribbon I found in the Target $1 bins…and…

Voilà! The inside is also lined with the Bella DP. Now I just need to put in the plastic holder inserts and start exchanging!

Here is the other card I made…

It turned out better than I imagined. I worked really hard on that terra cotta pot and trust me…it didn’t look good when I started. However, I am very pleased with how it turned out and I am proud of myself for not giving up (*pats self on back*). I used a clear circle window over the sentiment. Stickles are on the flowers and butterfly. Let’s take a closer look…

This card is going straight to my MIL. She is exactly whom I think about when I see this stamp. And she’s gracious enough to appreciate (and save) my work!

Enjoy stampahs! Hopefully I’ll have more tomorrow…

ATCs

You know what I spent most of my morning doing? Trying to salvage all the little pieces of unused rub-ons I have that are littering my shelf. Anyone else have this problem? After I cut some out, the others tend to lose their paper backing that keeps them from rubbing off…and I lose 1/2 of a rub-on on my shelf or another rub-on. It’s such a mess. So this morning, I spent time paper clipping the paper backs to all the pieces. It was fun…not so much.

ATCs seem to be all the rage this week. Verve Visuals is doing an ATC challenge and somewhere I saw a tutorial for them. Not only that, but my sister-friend Becky sent me a few the other day! AND I’m going to participate in a swap for them.

I had started making all my stamping sisters (Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers 14, see sidebar) a "card" back when SBS 14 completed. Honestly, I only got as far as stamping the images. So, I decided to turn those images into ATCs for my sistahs!!

All of the Bellas are for my sistahs. See the Bella ATC above? There are 5 in that series and they all look the same. Here’s a closer look at the faux metal seal…

I made this from retired Classy Copper (wasn’t that the name?) embossing powder on top of gold metallic paper (brand unknown). I used the Rubber Stamper * 365 days* Tap Tap Tap stamp from Circle of Friends which is about to retire!! You might want to "catch it" before it goes!!

This is a 3 part series and (obviously) they are all different. The lighting wasn’t that great. The first ATC uses Always Artichoke, River Rock (I’m going to be sick when I run out of that paper), and Chocolate Chip card stocks.

This series, I’ve titled "Blondes have more fun." See the really daring Bella wearing a black leather jacket? She’s very adventurous . You know why she’s *really* adventurous? Because she is wearing Elegant Eggplant pants. Uhhh huh. And again, the lighting is horrible so just to be clear, the second layer is Elegant Eggplant card stock on top of Basic black. I will probably photograph this one again.

Enjoy stampahs! Until next time…

for visiting.
