Recently, Julie started her own Etsy store and she is selling the most fabulous journal books. Her store is still being stocked and she’s taking custom orders. I have one of her books and I have to say how amazed I was with the craftmanship.

Now granted, Julie is my friend. But I’m not saying any of this out of friendship. My frenemy could have made this and I’d still be impressed!!!

You simply must click this picture so you can see the journal in better detail.

Julie’s journals are made with high quality card stock pages. All the material she uses is high quality…some of it came from my store!

I want to share the craftmanship with you…and then I’ll tell you what I plan to use my own journal for.

Take a look at the edges of this journal!

And that paper!!! So professional looking!!

Again, very professional looking edges. Julie takes a lot of care with these, huh?!

The binding is awesome! I still struggle with my BIA, sometimes crushing my wires.

Do you see how lovely the pages look? Everything is so neat!!

And here is a closer shot of the outside stamp.

Isn’t it cool? I sure think so.

So you want to know what will be going in my journal? Sketches! All the sketch challenges I love, I’m going to cut and adhere to the pages so I can make a book of them! How convenient will that be?

Speaking of sketches… It’s Mojo Monday time!! And I have something I am super, crazy excited about today…the US Post Office!!! Those lovely creatures brought me two amazing pieces of mail…

1. My first Verve Stamps, evah!!! (And let me tell you, shipping was crazy fast.)

2. AND MY BLUE OCTOBER TICKETS!!! WHOOT!!!

So this sketch, Mojo Monday Week 111, will be placed in my book. I’ll know who to credit and I’ll have a fab idea when I need one!

And here’s my project using this sketch:

I’m using that gorgeous BoBunny St. Nick paper again! Go get yours!

I love this set from Verve Stamps.

Let’s look closer…

I added Spicas to the poinsettas. I also colored it with Copics and cut and layered the image several times.

That’s a BoBunny bling piece on the top.

I even embossed the sentiment. Donna gave me some nice hints and now I’m enjoying doing this embossing! Amazing how that works!!

Well, that’s all for me today stampers. See ya next time!
