TTIC#25: Your Favorites
This week, our very creative Jen (she made the banner above, isn’t it fantastic?) issued our challenge:
For this week’s TTIC challenge I wanted to do something a little different. We’ve been picking very specific themes that showcase the design team’s favorite things and having everyone create something based on that. Well this week I thought it might be fun to focus a little more on what our participants like and are drawn to about Twilight. So our focus this week is:
Celebrate YOUR Favorites!
Creativity Challenge:
This week for the creativity challenge you are to show us what you love about Twilight. Is it Edward? Or the baseball scene? Emmett’s one-liners? Alice’s quirky style? The meadow? Or maybe it’s a quote. You choose! As part of this challenge to vamp it up a bit I also want you to concentrate on showcasing your favorite medium. Use your favorite technique, supply, material, etc. to help show case your favorites about Twilight. (I know that might be a tall order so 1 out of 2 ain’t bad.
) Show us what you LOVE about Twilight.
Comment Challenge:
I would love to hear what Twilight has meant to all of you. It seems that Twilight has affected many people on so many different levels. I know for me it’s given me this great group of women whom I love creating with, along with so many other wonderful gifts that I never thought would come from just a book. I’d love to hear more about what Twilight has brought into the lives of others.
Isn’t this an AWESOME challenge? Well, I’m going to mix mine up a bit and very liberally interpret the challenge. What I’m going to do is show you a couple of my past favorites which truly represent my favorite characters! Those of you new to the challenge may not have seen these, and those who have been around…I hope you enjoy the trip down memory lane…
This card was originally designed for TTIC#6: Rain. I featured Bella who is, one of my favorite characters. Now, Jen mentioned using our favorite techniques, supplies, materials, etc. And this card has several. First, I love to use designer paper in my stamped images (umbrella and coat). I love the effect it gives the overall image. I also love the dew drops used on this card. Those things are wonderful!
Of course, my very favorite is Edward. I’m guessing I’m not alone in that!! I’m observant that way… This card was originally made for TTIC#5: Who’s Team Are You On? or better known as: TTIC#5: TEAM EDWARD!
The red paper used in this design has got to be one of my all time favorites. It is a suede type of paper with the best feel evah! The paper is from Club Scrap. I love using ribbon on my projects and this was some of the best.
My favorite mediums to actually use are markers and now pencils. I’ve been playing with Gamsol and am about ready to make that public! However, I don’t really have any of my favorites using these.
As for the comment portion of the challenge, I am very grateful for the friendships I’ve made. I know this sounds cliché but it is true. I’ve met some awesome ladies, seen some great projects and creativity, and bonded with some in a deep way.
One thing I’d like to share today, did you know we have a new Flickr group? We do! There’s a Design Team Group where you can see all the projects we’ve done since the beginning and there is also a public group where you can post your Twilight projects.
Tomorrow, Julie will be revealing the scavenger hunt winner on www.twilighttuesday.com so be sure to visit.

I remember these cards! They are wonderful, just like the rest of your projects!!
Thanks for the memories
I cannot believe how much time has gone by!
You can interpret the challenge how ever you want. I really enjoy seeing all these past designs. I was just looking through the gallery the other day and I kept gasping “oh!” as I came across old favorites. The rain was is also one of my favorites of yours along with the Emmett one that resides on my bulletin board as work.
I have been LOVING this trip down memory lane today — it’s so fun to look back at the earlier challenges. You’ve really chosen a couple of memorable projects to highlight – they’re both fantastic. Interpreting rain is not so easy, and you really did it here!
I love these cards! Thanks for taking us down memory lane!
Such wonderful cards! I wasn’t around for these early ones so I loved seeing them!
These are two of my favorite ones you did!
Thanks for showing them off again!
