12×12 Scrap Page
First off, I got the most awesome package in the mail today from my spectacular friend Eve!! I can’t show you everything she sent me yet…but I will on Tuesday. I’m sure that should give you an idea… but I’m doing backflips over the moon! Here’s the card she sent me:
It totally rocks out loud. I love the colors and the details. I love green (and she does too) anyway so this scroll is just gorgeous IMHO.
I love the way she did the flowers. Especially adding the bling in the middle of them. Thank you so much, Eve!
Here’s the scrap page I did for today. I’m about to begin offering classes and this will be the first *kit*. I think I’ll add another page for the other side. Maybe I’ll do that this weekend.
I saw someone’s blog who made embossed butterflies on vellum card stock. I cannot remember where I saw that! If someone has seen that, please let me know! If I find it, I’ll be sure to amend my post because that stamper did an extraordinarily beautiful job. My butterflies are stamped in white craft ink and embossed with Iridescent Ice powder. This is such a beautiful technique.
I added a little sentiment and journaling.
And stamped my daughter’s name. All the flowers are from the Die Cut Blooms Again set. The stamp sets I used are Dreams du Jour and Big Deal Alphabet. The color combo is Close to Cocoa, Baja Breeze, and Very Vanilla.

Hi honey
Luv, luv, luv the new look!!!
What a beautiful layout…can I come to the class? Maybe the air fare would be a little prohibitive?
The acetate butterfly might be mine, I used to use them a lot, might still be a picture on my ’slide’ show, but not sure!
Anyhoo, you did a great job

I can’t take credit for that BEAUTIFUL card! I CASED it from the new SU catalog.
Page 120. Isn’t it the prettiest design?
I just love it! Your scrap page turned out adorable. I think it helps that you have such a DOLL for a subject!
Kindly,

OME, look at your daughter! She is so beautiful, as is the page you did. How cool that you’re about to start doing classes! I wish I lived nearby…
Eve’s card is gorgeous too — so much nice stuff to see this morning!
